About me

Hello my name is Steve and I'm NOT a personal trainer, NOT a dietician, or any other kind of expert that I can think of.  However, I have done extensive research into bodybuilding, fat-burning, as well as nutrition and I've come to the conclusion that no matter how much you research you will not lose a pound of body fat unless you make a mental commitment to do it and act on that commitment.

Through reading and personal experience I think I can help anyone feel better about themselves.  I know what it is like to not feel good about yourself, and to be out of shape but I also realize that everyone is different which requires a different approach to getting into shape.

I've always struggled with losing weight, I have friends that could eat the same thing I do and they would be fine while I would gain 5 to 10 lbs. and not just water, it was fat.  For years, and I mean years, I would talk about getting back into working out until one day my friend said "That's all you talk about, you'll never do it!"  It scared me because I thought he was right, so I asked myself if I was really willing to work hard and get back into shape and the answer at that time was NO I wasn't, and I also didn't think I could do it.

I half-assed started going to the gym just to see if I could go and do some cardio, I liked it so it just took off from there.  That's what I'm talking about as far as a mental commitment, if you are willing to just get your clothes on and go to the gym or get on the treadmill at home that, in my opinion, is almost all of the barrier.  I found once I was at the gym and doing something I was instantly motivated.

I loved the feeling I got after the gym of doing something constructive, and at the same time I was losing weight and feeling better each day about myself.  Sounds like it all happened quick, but it didn't.  It was a struggle like you wouldn't believe, so don't think I'm one of these people that just decide to do something and the next week I'm in shape.  Yea, I wish!!

I found working out helped me with the stresses of everyday life, so time permitting I get to the gym as often as I can.  Like I said earlier, getting to the gym or starting your workout wherever you are is the hardest part.  People are creatures of habit so the first couple times you will struggle, but it will definitely get easier.

I will be posting information on foods, supplements, workout routines, etc. here, please feel free to comment on anything that you may want to know more about, and please use the information as much as you can.  Likewise, if you have information for me I love reading new stuff so please don't hesitate to post it.  If you ask a question I will do the research and get you your answer if I don't already know it.

Stay motivated!!
