Celery and Peanut Butter

Next time you are in the mood for a small healthy snack, try a piece of celery with some peanut butter on top.  The juice in celery is a natural diuretic (gets rid of water retention), while the peanut butter contains some good fats and protein. 
Serving size:
1 - celery stalk
1 - tablespoon of peanut butter

  1. Hey Steve. If I am retaining water from my weight training session, will consuming quite a bit of celery speed up my body's release of this extra water?

    1. Yes, it should release your stored water build up. Make sure to cut your sodium intake and drink plenty of water, it will take a couple days but should work. Also, if you like coffee that is another natural diuretic...works great for me.
